I'm trying to run a basic Async service using springboot.
I'm getting an Exception while invoking the request. Not sure why it is happening, I have used all the instructions and code snippets from oracle website and jersey website. Is there anything i'm missing over here ?

Spring Boot by default uses SpringMVC for services(Which you are configured to use) but you are trying to mix in Jax-RS because of this mix-up I'm just going to answer how to do this in the Spring MVC way.
