Netbeans 8.0.2 The module has not been deployed

I just installed netbeans and I have problems deploying a new Java Web App. I simply create the project without editing anything, this is what project has by default (using apache):

index.html

<!DOCTYPE html>

    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
</head>
<body>
    <div>TODO write content</div>
</body>
</html>

Solution

  • I've had the same issue every now and then. This is how i solve the issue, it works like a charm for me!

    1. Go to 'Task Manager'
    2. Choose 'Processes' tab
    3. Click on 'Java(TM) Platform SE Binary'
    4. Click on 'End Process' button
    5. Go to your NetBeans project
    6. Clean & Build the project

    EDIT:

    For me, I have fixed the issue by stopping tomcat server from "Tomcat Monitor". So, it will be just one instance of Tomcat server that is running: the one that is started by Netbeans.
