How to Type Backticks (``) on a Latin American Keyboard

I'm encountering difficulty using my Latin American keyboard for coding in Node.js, especially when I need to use single quotes (''). For instance, I often require them when using string literals, such as in the expression:

 throw new Error('Expected 44, but got ${res}')

While I occasionally switch to a US keyboard to access the necessary quotes, I'd prefer a more seamless solution. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Solution

  • In my ("latin american") keyboard I type AltGr + }. And here you can find an old software that reads the keyboard layout and shows the key or combination for getting it.
