Python: access instance attribute from another file


Assume that I have generated a gui.py file using the pyuic5 command from a gui.ui file. I'm looking for a way to move the main class (Ui_MainWindow) methods to another file named func.py without any structural changes to the main class. Here I have a very simple generated gui.py:

What I need is to move buttonClicked function to the func.py file. So here would be the gui.py without that function:
