Unable to bundle install 'mysql2' on macOS Ventura caused by 'ld: library not found for -lzlib'

Unable to install mysql2 with bundle install. I'm asking because some sites and blogs have shown how to solve the problem caused by ssl, zstd, but I couldn't find a solution caused by zlib. Has anyone else faced the same problem?

By the way, I am running bundle install locally, not on the docker.

What I tried

・Add the followings to .zshrc after doing brew install zlib

export LDFLAGS="-L/opt/homebrew/opt/zlib/lib"
export CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/homebrew/opt/zlib/include"
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/opt/homebrew/opt/zlib/lib/pkgconfig"

・Add the following that is not shown in the brew info zlib but mentioned in the answer here.

export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/homebrew/opt/zlib/lib:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH

・Re-install command line tools by xcode-select --install

  • Hello to correct the same error, i have create a file on the root project : .bundle/config with this arguments
