I'm using the gigE GV-5271SE-C-HQ Ids camera. I'm also using the tryout program for python :

# The sole purpose of this program is to show one of the simplest ways to interact with an IDS camera via the uEye API.

For some reason unknown to me there is nothing.
I suspect the problem lies within how the camera is set up. But using IDS PEAK COCKPIT and IDS VISION COCKPIT I can see an image. I'm very lost on how I can solve this problem. Is there some library I could study or a turorial somewhere ? Does anyone encountered this problem ?
Pyueye only works with ueye cameras (These start with UI in their model name). For the GV and U3 ones a genicam compliant sdk is needed. IDS also offers one called "ids peak" and it has python bindings too. The python binding whl and example are distributed by its setup.
