Its a java web application for LDAP, i am implementing LDAPS, so when adding self signed cert ssl certificate i am facing this issue.
keytool -genkeypair -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -alias localhost -keystore keystore.jks -storepass your_password -validity 365 -keypass your_password -dname "CN=localhost"
keytool -export -alias localhost -keystore keystore.jks -file localhost.crt -storepass your_password
keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias localhost -file localhost.crt -keystore keystorename.jks -storepass your_password
keystore is created in src/main/resources
spring application yml file ldap: urls: ldaps://localhost:10636 base: uid=admin,ou=system username: uid=admin password: your_password base-environment: javax.net.ssl.trust-store: classpath:keystorename.jks javax.net.ssl.trust-store-password: changeit javax.net.ssl.trust-store-type: JKS javax.net.ssl.trust-store-provider: SUN javax.net.ssl.trust-store-alias: localhost
String Keystore = "[redacted]";
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", Keystore);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType", "JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", "changeit");
System.setProperty("javax.net.debug", "ssl,handshake");

Imported a certificate in java cacertes and giving the path of trust store and password but still trust anchors parameter must be non-empty error.
I Think its related to specifying the path of truststrore. You need to add the below configuration to your JVM.
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore="/path/to/truststore/mytruststore.jks"
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword="changeit"
If you run that in an IDE change that from run configuration or some ini files. Hope this would resolve the issue.
