I am trying to use the <auto-create-dead-letter-resources>true</auto-create-dead-letter-resources>
and <dead-letter-address>...</dead-letter-address>
properties in the address-settings
of a multicast queue configuration with multiple "consumer" queues on Apache Artemis broker 2.34.0
I have noticed that sometimes the DLQ assigned automatically by the broker to the consumer queues is wrong.
I was able to reproduce the problem using the official docker image from the Apache Artemis project, with the following configuration:

If I have a look in the console, and go to the queues
tab, then click the attributes
button for each consumer queues, I see the following:

I hoped that this was only a gui problem, but if I create a simple listener app and send a message on one of the consumer where the DLA is not assigned correctly, I can see that the wrong address is created automatically:

You're attempting to use the fully qualified queue name in the match
of several address-setting
elements, but the broker doesn't support that. You can only specify the address in the match
