I am using the react-three-fiber getting started doc to render a cube on a page but nothing shows and I am at a bit of a loss.
Link: https://r3f.docs.pmnd.rs/getting-started/your-first-scene
I am getting this error and a blank page in the browser:
TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'o.ReactCurrentBatchConfig')
I am getting these warming in the Webpack build but I believe these have nothing to do with my issue:

Here is my code:
my app component
import Cube from './three_components/Cube.jsx';
const App = () => {
return (
<Cube />
);
};
export default App;
my cube component
import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber';
function Cube(props) {
return (
<div id='container'>
<Canvas>
<mesh>
<boxGeometry args={[2, 2, 2]} />
<meshStandardMaterial />
</mesh>
<ambientLight intensity={0.1} />
<directionalLight color='red' position={[0, 0, 5]} />
</Canvas>
</div>
);
}
export default Cube;
my main.js
import React from 'react';
import { createRoot } from 'react-dom/client';
import App from './components/App.jsx';
let root = createRoot(document.getElementById('root'))
root.render(
<App />
);
I tried deleting node-modules and package-lock.json but it had no effect.
looking up .ReactCurrentBatchConfig doesn't provide anything meaningful.
I have found the solution for my question.
it seems that react-three-fiber has conflicts with React 19. so by installing '@react-three/fiber@alpha' seems to fix the issue
npm install @react-three/fiber@alpha
