How to set in renovate.json the renovate bot as merge request author?

I use renovate in GitLab to automate merge requests. The issue is that I am myself the author of the merge requests.

How to set renovate bot as merge request author, in order to allow me to merge them?

I saw assignees field in renovate.json, but what value shall I set?

I guess you've generated a Personal Access Token and Renovate is using it?

You should either:

• create a Group or Project Access Token in GitLab
• create a dedicated user account (often not recommended, they are meant for human users)

assignees would be the assignees of the MR, not the commit/MR author.
