azureazure-devopsresourcesenvironmentazure-container-apps

When creating new Container Apps Environment (with VNet), is it possible to choose the names of the automatically generated resources?

Created a new Environment for the Container Apps, one with Virtual Network Integration, with one more Workload Profile, not only the Consumption, but also a Dedicated D4, a resource group and two resources were automatically created by Azure (ME_*******), a Load Balancer and a Public IP.

From what I investigated, this is normal, Azure needs this in order to work properly.

I just want to be absolutely sure that is not possible to change the names of that automatic resources, whether, via GUI, in Azure portal, upon creation,or forcing via script ?

Thank You.

Solution

  • You can check this doc to find properties available to define during creation: Microsoft.App managedEnvironments. The infrastructure resource group name is in this scope. Other resources are not.
