I was working on an instance of Eclipse IDE on my professional laptop, I don't know how but I was able to save any change I make at the level of settings. Therefore, whenever I create a new workspace, I find, for example, the same Maven configuration, the same terminal initial working directory etc.
On my personal laptop, however, I can't duplicate the same behavior.
I don't remember what I did to have Eclipse save settings for all workspaces, apart from the classical export > general > preferences.
Do you have any idea ?
This is probably the Eclipse Oomph Preference Recorder, which is disabled by default and can be enabled in the preferences Oomph > Setup Tasks > Preference Recorder.
