After applying KB5058499, the Ctrl+Break keyboard shortcut in Visual Basic 6 stopped working (Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.4188).
Ctrl+Break is the native shortcut to pause code execution in the VB6 IDE. I tried to get around it using AutoHotKey, but I still had no success. I've been a VB6 developer since 2004 and have used all versions of Windows, however, this is the first time this has happened.
Does anyone have a solution?
Microsoft fixed the VB6 Ctrl+Break bug on KB5060842 update (patch tuesday - june 2025).
