Unable to run tests with latest cucumber version 7.24.0

I have the below maven dependencies in my project using the latest cucumber version 7.24.0 and the tests are not getting executed. All these tests run successfully if I switch to 7.23.0 . Any idea what could be causing the issue and how to resolve it?

Cucumber 7.24 requires the JUnit platform 1.13.3 (JUnit Jupiter 5.13.3).

It looks like you are not using the Cucumber BOM and JUnit BOM to manage dependencies. So it is quite likely that another dependency in your project depends on an older version of JUnit. You can debug that with mvn dependency:tree -Dverbose.

To fix it, the answer is all the same. Use the boms.

Note: If you are using spring-boot-starter-test, then you should set the version property to manage JUnit.
